Mak Ka Lei (麥嘉莉) is a talented young mezzo-soprano from Macau, whose powerful voice and captivating stage presence are making a significant impact. Holding a Master's degree in Vocal Performance (Opera Direction) from the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music, Mak Ka Lei brings a wealth of classical training and artistry to her performances. Currently, she shares her expertise as a vocal instructor at the Macao Polytechnic University's Faculty of Arts and Design, nurturing the next generation of musical talent. Her performance highlights include serving as the soprano soloist in the Macau premiere of renowned composer Li Haiying's grand religious choral work, "Huineng Ode." She also delivered a compelling mezzo-soprano solo in Vivaldi's sacred work "Gloria, RV589" at Macau's St. Dominic's Church. Her talent has also taken her to international stages, such as performing at the 44th National Independence Day dinner for the Grenada Embassy in Beijing. Mak Ka Lei's dedication to her craft and her impressive vocal abilities establish her as a prominent and exciting artist in the classical music world.
