Bonnie Wong is a Macau-based cellist with a refined and versatile performance style, bringing warmth, elegance and musical sensitivity to concerts, weddings, cultural events and corporate occasions.
She began her musical training on the piano and later developed her principal focus as a cellist. Bonnie holds ABRSM Grade 8 Piano, ABRSM Grade 8 Cello and ABRSM Grade 8 Music Theory qualifications. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance, specialising in Cello, at the Macao Polytechnic University. She previously completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Accounting at the University of Macau.
Bonnie has performed in a wide range of settings, from intimate wedding ceremonies and elegant duos to chamber-music presentations and large-scale public events. Her experience includes performances at the Macau International Film Festival, the International Tea Culture Carnival, cultural and community concerts, the International Choral Symposium, airport quartet presentations and the Jiangsu Television New Year’s Eve Concert.
She has also appeared in the music video for the theme song of Bobman Lam’s World Tour Stand-Up Comedy Show. Comfortable in both classical and contemporary environments, Bonnie adapts her playing to suit each occasion, whether performing as a solo cellist, in a chamber ensemble or alongside other musicians.
With her strong musical foundation, polished presentation and expressive sound, Bonnie is an excellent choice for weddings, luxury hotels, cultural programmes, corporate events and special celebrations.
